Staggered by artificial assimilation
Lifted off Good Times up high
As I often wondered why would I not
Forgotten was my very primal state
Brought in to a world so I might appreciate
Cosmic fortunes laid out as another solution
Caught in the spasm of this “feeling†of confusion
Polluting my spiritual diet inducing amnesia
All for the sensation, to please a sustenance
Corruption seeped into my veins of existence
As I consumed via a secular persistence
Assuming my life 2b was kicking and lively
Each day was a party and I was an invitee
Unbelieving in the aftermath of a life expectancy
So comes judgment, to rob my night
As I am reformed by divine insight
So to the revelers of yesterday I’m dead on sight
Mystery is solved very much to my delight
To truly see a better light, I must discount…….
Being the life of the party, but dead to Divine Light……..
