Some days  you  shyly reveal  the light of  day

To know you,  is  to  know  my  way, and what’s left wayside

Promise  is  your  glow,  causing  me  to  blush indiscreet

Reflections  cast  off  full  moons  in  show  for  some

Leaving  the  night  creatures,  quite  embarrassed in wake

They  concede  to  your  ever  present power and recede to shadows

Barely  able to hold  a  gaze,  always  fully  amazed by  your  means

I squint  and  peek  east  as  silent  bells  hint  at your  prevailing glints

For  it  is  for  this  day  that  I am  able  to  see  and  know  my  way

Prayers cast,  fast  surrenders,  food  for  thought, high  noon delivers

I  follow your  travels  across  skies,  beacon  and  reasons  for times of day

My  old  companion  and  nurturer,  I am  truly blessed  to  travel under guise

My  soul’s  solstice  is  a  spiritual  “sound” track  that  plays  to  our  hearts

Thank  you  for the  love  burns  brightly  in  long  or  short  day endeavors

You  are  a  treasure and  pleasure  to  dote for,  yes you,  dawn and  dusk
