As I sit here and begin this

I think of all the words I can say to express how I feel

To take my pain away to ease my mind, to release my soul to help me get my feelings under control

It is my outlet my way to escape the world my journey of freedom on a road less traveled

I run in a field full of beautiful flowers and acres of land butterflies and dandelions everywhere I turn

I close my eyes and I take a deep breathe, then my pen begins to flow along the paper I dream of, I imagine, I wish, I want, I remember, the pain, the rain, the sunshine it all flows free

For this pen and this paper always listen to me, it never judges, it never complains, it never gets tired, and it's always there for me

Neverending rhymes of lines that flow freely from top to bottom from page to page

Floetically, poetically, soulfully, truthfully, painfully revealing and exposing the depths of my soul

The hidden treasures of my heart the secret window to my mind
