When you cannot talk, or even write about the deep hurt, and pain of a past relationship
When you think of all the times you awake, and found yourself crying in your sleep
and oh, the many days you would weep. Thinking how someone totally betrayed you , and the love
that you beholded, not caring about how it may deeply inject into your total soul
Remembering the times when you were told," I will love only you", and our love is true
Now look at me the sky is not so blue. It's so easy to put down your guard when you
are in a fanasty, of living hard the picture that is on a canvas
A picture painted so beautifully, that you hope will predict your destiny
But the the signs are there, but you don't care, because the lies and confessions to love
makes you so unaware, and thus you just don't see the affair
The new walk, the new talk, and even the new clothes that your loved one bought
Cold shoulder, back to back, where is the love?
I shiver from the lack of affection that I once adorned
Now all I can feel is scorned
