Dear Mommy and Daddy,
One last look, I take to see, just what it was I left behind me. no laughter or happiness, nor sadness or tears.
No Fear, No Pain,
Just empty promises made in vein.
Christmas lights were dark, Thanksgiving table bare, Hearts broken, no valentines to share.
Birthday presents given without a card, just a .22cal... It left a scar.
So harps play long and soft, flowers rest upon a box, souls within them rest not.
Friends young, barely in there teens lost inside a paper dream.
I look hard to see where I lost me, cast down my eyes and what do you see?
The face in the coffin was me. I lay here on the edge, just before I die and I realize there are ....
NO TOMORROW, NO GOODBYES
