 Brother, Brother,

lift the cover, see who lies there...

A woman, a mother, another man’s daughter, who now lies dead.

Yelled yesterday, slapped today, tomorrow a punch, today she's dead.

I've heard the excuses for the abuse, over and over again.

I lost my temper, it was her fault, I was stressed, I couldn't help myself.

please tell it to someone else.

"And another woman falls" There will be no more wives, mothers or lovers, only

bodies beneath these covers, within these morgue walls.

And Upon a Tombstone....

I'M SORRY!
