 I apprached an idea fired with enthusiasm

My mind races, thoughts soar to new heights,

Where hopes and dreams intertwine with reality.

I become an energetic body of vision and solution

Believing in myself and my new project.

But, alas, when aglow with pride and joy,

I speak to you of the idea and my plans,

You clip my soaring wings with negatives,

Sharp words cut into my hopes and dreams,

Shattering faith in the idea and myself.

I was holding an idea, thinking, soaring

Into the realm of hard work and possibilties.

My mind was awake, set limits, why not 

Let me fly for the sheer joy of trying.
