Surely I
Purify

This Angel attains all
Breathing in corruption
Flying as spring falls
Through the fog
As the realm of the damned
Releases the lost lamb
My eyes close as his open
What a stroke of genius
Unfit for speakin'
But leads body and mind
To leave his crypt
And thus it happens
Our communities
Populated by walking zombies
As in humans hardly possessing
Thought processes
Confessions of past transgressions Lead to redemption
But the evils of pens and needles
Have stepped in
Picking their victims.
