I'm Sorry

I apologize for relying so heavily on you
I’m sorry for the times I put on or withdrew
I heard people talk but who were they
I never meant to confuse the words you say
Nobody knows what we're deserving of
But I don't get it, I just wanted to feel the love
A kind of love like that that actually once existed
Why is what I get either conditional or twisted
For far too long I have known this strain
But of the blackest soil grows the finest grain
Love and sadness aren't one and the same
Til the day you die you’ll remember my name
