I Sit back as my thoughts roam uncontrollably

They think they know me but they don't
And it's a shame because were all caught up in this game called life Stressing over senseless things
Fancy clothes diamond rings
Which are nice don't get me wrong but if that's all to life
Then hand me a knife to dice and slice my way outa this torment
May my body lay dormant
Because anything worst than death is a regret filled coffin
They say we've broken away from racism in this day and age
Lies We're still chained it's concealed in our minds
Old white folk saying "it'll take time"
This generation pays no mind
Rather listen to rappers rhyme
Wear gold and silver chains that shine
I’m trying to close the door of an all too familiar physical fantasy
With which most people have chosen to pursue
While they’re trying to get deeply embedded in a rich and famous lifestyle
I assume that'll end in the blues
I’m trying to find and define myself
Like a blind architect creating a market in the darkness
He may be talented
Passionate
at the same time challenged
But not limited with the same uninhibited thoughts that burn the brain like hot sauce
Can't help but applause
the fake friends that pretend to defend you in certain events
But their eyes flare and glare with a stench of revenge
Find in life that which makes you smile for sadness is a tree's nectar that attracts the attention of emotional predators, competitors
Aimed to do one thing

Keep you away from success!!!
