I hum my way through a poem
Like I can hear a song
Playing in the background
Of my mind
The same tune every time
So elegant and so sublime
Inspiring aspirating
Gliding across every line
I am poetically inclined
To twist or twine
Romancing the mind
To shine like lit up skylines
Colored ribbons defining
The cause that sheds light
On awareness to the effect
To correct the error
Of objected subjects
Runs, marches and rallies
Problems, reactions, solutions
Branching out from the center
Grasping the dream
From the tangible remains of
Long term goals
Until the hum is heard
In the fold of the cold
