we live in a world where there is no place called home
for many who roam all alone throughout the day and night
this is the beginning of a wrong that was never made right
life still goes on and we still sleep at night
trying to hold on to what we have keeping it in our sight
because we know that it could be taken in the night
waking us up to a different side of our lives
where we no longer control the lights
where we can't just do what we like
too many say "that won't happen to me"
they're just too bind to see
with shoes on their feet
clothes on their backs
enough food to eat
it's so hard to see what they lack
like empathy and for those who are gone
some sympathy and love for humanity
too stuck up to believe that
all symphonies must come to an end
