Ebony clouds surround the sky,
Bright summer flowers wither and die,
Eternity is here, it grips the past,
The land of time, the spells they cast.
The darkness of eternal flame,
Has brought upon us such holy blame.
A man stands alone on the ocean shore,
He remembers the fears of like he bore.
Riding on a single prayer,
To take his life he doesn't dare.
The course of like will come to show,
To die unfair will not be so.
A kingdom of endurance waits,
For the souls of blinded fate.
A single word the man did bear,
That word was one of great despair.
A heart so real, so strong, so kind,
Can cast afar a love that binds.
The man of the sea held such a heart,
The one that stood he never did part.
A lonely cry, a belated sigh,
The world closed around the ebony sky.
