I know what that feels like, missing everything
you once had, feeling like it should still be there
remembering the walk across the floors , getting
up and opening the doors, the window you long
to look out of once more, the laughs of the
family that you have no more, when outside
was truly the great outdoors, the bed you use
to sleep in, counting the days to a weekend
smelling the recipes, black eye peas, sweet
potatoes, cornbread, collard greens, this is
