New clothes, fresh fade, fly shoes,
Shopping bags and sales tags,
Old friends in a new class,
He grew and she blossomed,
Summertime flew by fast, but man was it awesome!
Book bag filled with paper, pencils and books,
He-Man lunchbox, cuz I hate what school cooks,
Go thru habitual rituals like a baseball player,
Type 9x9 = on my calculator,
81, to bless and test my lucky charm,
Organized with a Trapper Keeper under my arm,
The first week is always sweet,
Everyone starts with an A, so we all geeks!
