The night was dark.
All stood still.
Alone on this night.
Atop of hill.
Perched like a wolf,
I'm on the prowl.
My feelings unleashed,
at the moon I howl.
Hear the pain in my voice,
the anger and fury.
The lack of restraint,
and for all that I worry.
The restless night,
I travel alone.
The ceaseless darkness,
my mind to hone.


I grow restless,
there so much on my mind.
I try to sleep,
but I wake up countless times.
Tossing and turning,
my mind won't let me sleep.
Waking up at a sound,
at the slightest little peep.
Like I'm paranoid,
and my minds on edge.
It's like now or never,
should I jump off this ledge.
Mind going crazy,
it's in an uproar.
It won't be silenced,
it will be restrained no more.
Appearing to be calm,
but boiling under the surface.
Unable to relax,
all types of nervous.
My subconscious is working,
doing overtime in overdrive.
A computer overheating,
about to lose it's hard drive.
Nothing to lose,
peace of mind to gain.
I let my emotions go,
go insane, release my pain.
