I am enchanted by the soft glow
of her cocoa flavored God-given garment –
soft
as the twilight
of a salt candle.
My strength taken
in adoration –
legs quaking –
against the mantle,
I lean,
gazing through her soul’s portals
with amazement
that she still finds my company
novel and engaging
after all this time.
