Candle and Sword
When you are no longer able to see
You immediately search for me
Always left in the same place
Felt forgotten but I never forget your face
Though for me there's just one time you care
No matter the time lapse I'll always be there
Your faithful companion, but only in the night
In your darkest hour im your light
Shining for you as I melt
None of my pain is ever felt
You burn me until the new day
Put me out and up until needed to light your way
If you be worthy enough to pull me from the stone
The power I power i possess will be your own
Though you must come with some skill
For I'll just be your instrument to kill
Serving your wishes whatever they may I
Slay your demons if you wield gracefully
No foe will ever you put you to rest
There no sword above me, I'm the best
Then what am I when the war is won
A relic of battle when all is calm and done
Casted aside left alone
As if place back into the stone
The candle and the sword I share their pain
To simply be there for another and not complain
Bring light to your dungeon or slay your enemy
Used to bring you from hardship faithful and unwillingly
