I am a streeta well acquainted with the night, I have basked in the rain of glory without a stain, I have walked the furthest city blocks in the city light, I 've lived life in the fastest city lanes on the expressway always passing authority on their beat, dropping my eyes to conceal deceit, never standing still always moving my feet, never admitting guilt or surrendering to defeat, whats understood sometimes still need to be explained, always suffering but never one to complain, never letting the night end forever I am trapped in this pain, loving the party hate to say goodbye in the still of the night you can hear it's soul cry, feel like I am on top of the world in the middle of the night, feeling immortal at an unearthly height, pockets full of what we all need, that many men die over and makes you commit the sin of greed, luminous more against the stars in the sky, from dusk til dawn I will soar and fly, the streets is mine, I will never die, I hear the streets talk and the sounds are vicious and compelling, leaving me to wonder who is doing all the telling, a straight streeta rather wrong or right, I have always been an associate and affiliate of the night,
