We cannot know the ending until it is;
we are of now---having come from the beginning.
Let us continue to sow and scatter; plow and cultivate
today that tomorrow may bloom flowers
whose wombs will bear ripen fruits of seeded hopes.
Let our yesterdays be revealing reflections:
we are not what they want us to be;
rather, we are what our God created us to be.
As the key of day will soon come
to unlock the door of night,
freeing the coming of the rising sun,
so shall we too shall our audacious faith
and determination bring the key to unlock the door
imprisoning our stolen freedom and precious dignity.
