Each day that we draw light
within our souls
reflections of the lives
we touch the unknown scribe
with supernaturally inspired
abilities
we each extending
 further than we are enabled
by our spirits grasp
to fulfill our roles
in anothers frame of mind
blind to the potential consequences
so far beyond even our small understanding
of ourselves...
and departing, one last time
leave in our wake
a single fallen ray
of sunshine
bought, by our insistence
to call forth one lasting moment
to celebrate what time...
we were enabled to focus
our awareness
to one we call a friend
one
of a kind

...it is always
a sad day
 to lose a friend.

though,
we cling to one another
each moment of life
as if it will be
ever lasting
sadly though
the end
...comes too fast
a tip of an iceberg,
...in these fragile vessels
called these shells
which embody our souls
and those we
call
friends
we commune
with
as we come and go
sharing a spark of heartfelt being
as we fall
as single leaves
 before the autumn winds
together and apart, throughout
what moments we may share
in our brief
life flight
to twitter,
as birds

going swiftly,
back and forth, between
the ever changing seasons
like scenes, written
 ...in afterlife
recall...
past promise
almost,
 as if in a dream...
to celebrate
what miracles, which flowed
within us, as lifesprings
of spiritual roots
which grow between our hearts
mostly of what we do not know
a treasury of  life
...undiscover'd

until
we are bathed
no more in its tide
lifted by the visions
of the place
where our horizons touch
...connected, from end to end
to embrace the sparkle
living within the eyes
yet, now no more
...only, tears
as it streams away
from us... as we depart
bathed... only
in it's
afterglow
