TRIUMPH PERSONIFIED

If  triumph  were  a  day,

I  would  yell,  hip,  hip,  hooray….hooooaaahhhh!

While   bustin’  a  groove,   at  a  hip hop  parade

If  triumph  were  at  play,

Could   I  always  act  surprised   at  reprisals

Eventhough   being  cast  as  director  or  producer

If  triumph  is  a  blessing,

Why  would  I  waste  energy  stressing?

Already  assured  in  passing,  just  test  taking……

If   triumph  is  outside  for  all  to  see,

There  would  be  little  point  of  seeing  differently

Long  as  I  kept  moving,  I’d  eventually  be……

If  triumph  lies  in  family….

Not  just  in  my  hood  but  universally

Verily  every  Mother,  Father  and  Child  are  love  factors

So  triumph  is  the  sound  of  victory

We  carry  within  thru  God,  Son  &  Holy  Spirit

Always  recognized  in  sight,  sound  and  feeling……
