Providing rejuvenation
When my soul aches.

A place where laughter wipes tears,
Where shoulders become wipes.

Take me to a place called home,

Scrutinising every detail.

sands of time run dry

Till the sands of time run dry,
And the hourglass finds stillness.

Let my roots find firm soil,
Anchor deep,
Find strongholds
Against all wishing to depose
Me of my claim here.

the stars are speaking
they share tales in their twinkling
they converse of worlds
they've gazed upon
and mortals whose necks creak
as they cast their eyes upward
they congregate over wishes
spoken in hearts
as they race across galaxies
they speak of the power they yield
to cast light
upon vast stretches of darkness

gratitudes seed

Gratitude, the seed,
the mind carefully sows.
The soil tilled by remembrance,
holds every cherished thing,
collecting, recording, archiving
all that is dear.
