Oh Katrina (10 years no change)

Was it really a tragedy?

Or was it really a strategy from our majesty?!

To cleanse a city where some of the world's most wicked inhabitants dwell.

The city that never sleeps, the place where the devil himself receives mail and like to creep. The only place in the world that you can sin freely for 24 hours straight and feel like you had the time of your life.

Man that sh!t ain't right, but down in the city, that's life.

Friends fighting friends, Family killing family, cousins sharing the same baby daddies,

 now that's tragic.

Students teaching the teachers, Preachers preaching but ain't preaching the gospel, the only members of the church that's really prospering.

Scared to preach the good news, talking about they are men of God, but don't even dip through the Hood..

Christ went into the jails and the hoods, never collected money but always gave back food..

Voodoo magic, trigger finger happy, broken households, no present daddies, pagan heaven, superior spirits of lesbianism and spirits of homosexuality, love all wickedness and hate righteousness, sounds like old Orleans, a place that was shaped in France.

Praise teams that deliberately mock us, blacks are the real saints even Satan himself wanna jock us.

  Oh Katrina.....

We was warned before she caught a fit, we still chose to rebel and keep living in sin.

Talking about riding it out, never would have thought people would be on rooftops screaming for help,

and watch the police officers scheme for self.

Robbing jewelry stores and stealing cars, a simple catastrophic event had the Laws breaking laws..

The Most high allowed the enemy to blow up the levees because down here these people don't take heed to sh!t.

I'm from New Orleans but I don't have a New Orleans spirit.. My spirit is from Jerusalem..

Yah will pass through again and purge out evil once again.. King Qadar Dwon'

This is probably the realest truth the world will receive about Hurricane Katrina during it's anniversary. A lot of people will try to paint a portrait of a beautiful city rich in beautiful culture that was destroyed by "mother nature". However, this piece brings to light the reality of how Katrina purged through obedience to the Creator of the storm. Modern day Sodom

I love this piece, tho! Even though, once again, you posted without me....sigh. Pettiness in full effect over here.... :( Still, you did such a perfect job on this I had to put aside my pettiness and comment on this perfect art piece. #poetryfreestyleKing #alltruthnolies #thetruthabouthurricankatrina

Thank you Queen! Full testimony from me and with understanding from the father. I waded in that water and slept outside.. The good had to suffer for the bad, but I endured and he kept me under his wings like always.... Sorry for posting without you, but you know why lol.... :-)
