I don't need, better things
I just, want to see, better days
I don't have to, have it all
if I have love, I never lost
I don't need company
I'm too busy, seeking the face
of the one who creates
and created, everything
the giver of better days
puts my mind to rest
at a state of unrest
no contest, no indictments
acquit the man
with blood on his hands
I know, who is in control
but, I still, do not understand
