I don't need, better things
I just, want to see, better days
I don't have to, have it all
if I have love, I never lost
I don't need company
I'm too busy, seeking the face
of the one who creates
and created, everything
the giver of better days
puts my mind to rest
at a state of unrest
no contest, no indictments
acquit the man
with blood on his hands
I know, who is in control
but, I still, do not understand
so thankful there's a plan
in place for those, who are
in black face, stand and face
the enemy of this race
do not backspace
bend down and draw a line
do not erase the mark
it's a light, that shines in the dark
I see a spark coming closer
it's getting nearer
what you scared for
there's nothing to fear
this what we were bred for
the lions loose, out the cage

about to rupture our bone structure
no bones broken
the word is restoration
to people of this nation
