As I age I can see more clear/ starting to recognize the man in the mirror/ Ancestors planting messages in my night class/Seeing the world through my inner eyeglass/Sankofa/Sankofa/ even the blind can see if they focus/natural deterioration of the flesh/ but my mind sharper than a billion Sumari swords/ my objective yet revealed/ future filled with stares and gray hairs/ Purpose and promise/ Not ready for the big sleep/ Longevity a gift and a curse/you see the best followed by the worst/with age comes wisdom and responsibility.
