a flower leaves all its pedals
where they fall
it does not reach down
pick them up and try to put them back
it understands that nature
has to take its course
the flower knows it must die
in order to reform and bloom again
again and again and again
the life of a flower never ends
when the pedals fall
as long as it stays in its place
it continues to reincarnate
it cannot be revived in a vase
soaking in it's own waste
