Come Down

what is a cry for help
if it is not to get the attention
of someone else
what if you cry out
"HELP"
but, no one listens
then you decide
if action speaks volumes
than I must die
out loud
in front of a crowd
so everyone can hear
me cry...WTF..for crying out loud
so you step into an elevator
take a ride to the top floor
exit through an emergency door
now you're on the rooftop
"STOP"
but, you don't hear me
so you continue to
carry out your stupid plan
but, you don't hear me, tho
stepping out on the ledge
a crowd gathers around
that's what you wanted
right
but, to your surprise
no one talks you down
they all just stand around
waiting for you to
"JUMP"
coz, all they want to hear is
"THUMP"
