What's love?
Is it really just a four letter word
Or is it when the bees reunite with the birds?
What is love?
I'm confused by the thought of it
Since we consume it and sport it
Like it's a trend
Then drop like it's the end
The best lovers are friends
Until the fruit gets sour
And that love comes burning down like the twin towers
But really what is love?
Can anyone answer that?
I thought love was thick and thin
For rich or poor
From now to eternity
I thought love was unconditional
But I see that love is more about decimals
Christmas and Valentine
Consume with gifts
In my generation having kids before marriage is the IT
So tell me what is it with this
This thing called love?
We LUST...
We LUST for each other
Cause LUST ain't
LUST is new
LUST is quick
LUST is a rush
And LUST finds it's way to quit
But LOVE
Oh whatever that is
Never gives up
Like a mother who protects her kids
LOVE
Is when someone does you wrong
But you forget and forgive
Love is giving your last
For divine everlasting
Which reminds me
That love is GOD
So I heard
Love is hard without sweet words
So the next time you define love
Look within
Look around
And hopefully the answer will emerge
As well as it surrounds
