All of my poetic and philosophical elaborations

struggle to tame you

Warm winds against my senses chilled to the marrow

Watching the landscape of all I’ve learnt,

the ego of my education

smolder, trying to figure you out

Prayers for understanding; my mind palmed in ashes

Why you were like a wildfire fueled by the breath of God...
