sifting through traces of our being
attending the gathering of our human family
looking for "like" people
knowing only of the essence
as it exists in people, past, present, future
once and FOREVER bound
to one another
lost and found
among friends and strangers
Love reigns supreme
over the battlefields and wastelands
of our mutual transgressions
as memories of lost voices
call through the corridors of our past
as we cling with all our heart of soul
to the last echoes of life
or we fall careen
helplessly past our last hope
into worlds of confusion
leading us to wonder
