Stars suspended in the night skies
ride upon our consciousness
forming a canopy above us
as we gaze upwards
it seems
we are looking into our very souls
from this moment of eternity
wondering how many times
this has been done
in our past
even in a less knowing sense
of being
in our past,
...assigning deity...
charted with navigations tools,
calendars
from pyramids to slide rules
distant lights glowing in our eyes
never revealing their true nature
as they appear to us to be
hovering
even in the reality
more like leaves flowing with us
in a stream
glowing balls of energy,
beyond our comprehension
not to mention,
just how strongly we feel
it's influence
in our emotions,
as tides turn in
...our spirituality
its significance
becomes
what is in our view simply
as if...
something i wish upon
