In the silver mine
where our essence
climbs,
as we are inspired
dives
in pursuit of our desires
spins,
as we are suspended
explorations of what links our bodies to our souls
as we ponder deep in thought
our emotions seeking a world of unseen promise
a sacred place where the key
hovers secretly in a space
placed between us
which provides what spirit
which has shaped our rise
to humanity
even more elusive
than the whisps of clouds
and a glowing sun ship
which sails above and beyond us
as the converging dimensions of our souls
find what solace we may find
as it cast adrift and glides
impelled by a design...
met by a greater force
than i/ we/ us
may comprehend
as if to unwind a script
from which flows the stream of consciousness
which resides somewhere between
our thirsting souls and ever reaching mind...
we do a merry thought step dance
splashing joyuously in the mirror pools,
studying the currents which carry our mood a little further beyond
each fleeting moment of our awakening desire,
as the ripples of emotion pour
from the eager and willing portion of our will
to bouy us above a harsh cold core of a reality
where we skip a stone at will
along a course of destiny
where we are both bound
and freed...
never thinking
of the fuel we're burning
lost in the being we incur
within a seam of unearthly fire
reaching across untold dimensions
of a universe we do not rightly know
feeding the spark of life
harnessing the tidal flow of eternity
pulling the stars together and apart...
bending our will towards each other
in love and life
across that aspect of the universe
we know as time...
