Scared to let my babies play outside..

Afraid Da Front Stoop will invade their minds..

Before I can deeply instill Self Accountability,..

Hoping, through all the Hype/ through all the Lies..

Spirituality and integrity will guide their Conscious Mind..

Won't Swallow what Statistics feed me..

That my baby girl will, give birth before.. She learns of Her true worth!  

It pains me to think.. My Son could be pressed to pay dues to this street!

When his time comes, I'll have too.. From the sideline with No control.. 

Watch Him.. Face alone that fork in the road..

I prey He can push forward Bravely.. Even when He Over-Stand that with The Black Man..  

This World don't play Fairly.
