this is no parting fancy nor mere Peyton Place
you get a taste
of what is to become from above
with a lot of love you get your motor running
a seed was planted a time ago by a farmer
in time roots spring up out of the fertile soil
taking to long for water to boil
a race of faith in one day at a time
every moment we get we must confess
in a power that's greater then self
have to put that book right back on the shelf
yet it's not about us it's all about him
a good reason in which to begin all over again
our flesh wants to serve sin, self & Satan
