alone in you room & you stare at the wall that in the back of my mind I hear my conscious call
for you are the magnet & I am the steel behind life's squeeky wheel

in ardent flowers decorated with the brilliance of each tempered stroke
we can easily laugh and cry at good times that go by
to embark of a quaint resolve through a doorway we shall exchange requests
love me for life amidst the given strife we hold our own resources

life is about making choices but even if you do nothing your still choosing something
one in twain yet marked on a blotted page clearly intact
working to hard can give you a heart attack
the inner pulse of your heart had lit a spark to what I needed to know

better to have loved and lost then to have never have loved at all
amidst the surface we are drifting as sand let the reader understand
