this more through a dense fog I heard your cry

this applause exploded in my minds eye

it started off as a seed so many years ago

with time it would grow into roots

that sprouted up into the sun never scorched

as I tried the faith walk in my own stregnth I would fail

　

Let go & let God so set sail

across a barren desert alone in my thoughts for the furtherance of the advance

the pathway was straight and narrow and at times I would often sink

its the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things to come

my inner faith has run its course so I'm left here all alone

as if a dog is without its bone

　

giving pause to think as I dismiss this earthly bliss in a time well spent in thought

so folks have followed me into the woods smack dab into the poison ivy

society has a great hold of me in my inner loosened longevity

Each new day there is a promise to be made the chance to be brave

laughter heightenes the mystery of what one is willing to achieve

　

stand next to me in my sullen apathy

in time you'll see a reason to be

socialized as a wondering wizard through life's blizzard
