spewing dreams deferred

festering in time;
Injustice seeds itself
in fertile fields
laden with political bull
chips of new age
urban plantations;
New ships become cruises
sailing the old passage thereof.
Yet the legacy lingers on. Ballooning.
Equal Rights and Neo-Colonialism
are wedded at the altar
of renewed political deception;
From continental sea
to continental sea—
Stagnation celebrates:
The journey has gone
off course—Sailing winds
are at rest.
