The Agony
　
too many of us retreat
much to busy to smell your feet
lest of course I shall repeat
learning to fly one step at a time
　
we shall climb one step at a ride
inside there is intense pain
let me be the first to explain
with a song in my heart no reason to fear
　
inside we hide behind four walls that bind
created and crafted from a great design
one likes to live in the make believe
knock you to your knees
learn to relax then bask in the sweet ambiance
　
cherish a smile to know all the great while
love has wings and it grows
it exhibits a brash premonition to flow
pump up the base to increase it's tempo
many of us choose to live in boxes
　
caged fear with less room to share
burning the midnight oil
taking to long to wait for water to boil
