we’ve come too far

to turn back;

to those

who are white,

stand up and fight

for what’s truly right;

to those

of another color—

colors

remember,

we’re all sisters & brothers;

for those

who feel left out,

here’s what it’s all about:

irrespective of race—

given or chosen gender—

to the bigoted demons,

let us never surrender...
