Myself through what
I thought
Was their love of
Me, I used to dress
The part to exude
My sexuality
But now I
Am understanding
I was only reprimanding
My beauty
Making all
That was whole
And pure –explicit
As if I were
Sexually eliciting
The ill fated
Attention of so
Many men
Who themselves
Seek validation
But alas
Have discovered
Beauty –true
Beauty resides
In the heart
God imagined
To be His
Implanted
In us…
