For one to move on
You look back at
Every weathered storm
Amazed at how you're
Still standing on your feet,
A feeling comes over you.
Something soul deep.
A contented smile,
Silent eyes and a
Settled mind become
The opening ceremonies
To our moving forward.
Positive thoughts are the
Forefront by which we are led,
Followed by the transitions
Of our ambitions into
Mode full steam ahead.
And the push of striving
Arm in arm Inspirationals
Who want to see you
Succeed in life's endeavors
Are there to bring up the rear,
While hard work and determination
Like endless rivers
Run free and clear.
Taking challenges head on
As obstacles surface
Along your path one by one
Ha ha ha, bring me
That mountain Mohammed
It's time to get things done!
So who's coming with me?
The groundwork has been laid
For the next step of the rebuild
The price has been paid.
We can't afford to sit around
And wait for our time to arrive,
We gotta get a move on to
Make a difference in our lives
And others too
There's millions of people out there
Just like me and you.
Who just need a hand
To get on their feet,
Since the unity that
Once reigned within us
Has all but been put to sleep.
It's time to wake up
Our sleeping giant
And show the world how
It's done without being defiant.
So I hope they're prepared
With firmly planted feet
Because when it hits them,
They're gonna feel it
