I wish the play  on  this bowl was surreal

In  fact  its just  that,  another  episode in  a  serial

White  milk  trying to drown  out  contents  and/or  substance

Trying  to  flood a  container  with alternate facts tolerance

Sure the game is  old,  played by gladiators who are  the  slaves

Slaves who  play by  the rules  to make a  living as champions do

Existing in the bowels of  the bowl, playing  for  a come up and way  out

Often not equally respected and often neglected although highly valued

Respecting the  game by taking a break  to peacefully  protest sour  milk

Not all  cereal  sinks  or  drowns,  as always  in  life cream  rises  to the top

Taking a knee to show that all contents in  a bowl’s ingredients exist the same

Wisdom filled knowing that to pledge allegiance means all be treated equally…

Quiet as kept,

Like a good nights’ sleep,

Hoping  to rest, but  can’t fall asleep

My  head is discerning the diss’ count of sheep…

Misinformed or  mislead by  the spiritually weak

Crossing  lines of those picketing, peaceably, 

Standing  for  something, not  just  sitting  on stacks

As  Black Lives becomes…All Lives  then  Blue Lives

And  Now  Me  Too….???  What’s up with  that???

Who knew  if you ain’t say it 2b  true?  Plights for realz…

Over five  hundred years,  I  got  plenty  to  tell, factually

Changing  conversations  to muddy issues being told anew

Justice  better call  for  a  timeout, or  request a national break

Maybe  its  Just  Us,  after never  being  treated effectually, respectfully

If  ‘ish  ain’t  right  and I been left?..... How would you feel?

I’m  down  for  a  cause, got  a  few  too, seems  like  my  team’s  purposely preempted

Makes  me  queasy on how  easy is the crossover, when  it  displeases red, white & blue!

Pledging  allegiance to armed forces,  like  I  ain’t  got  peeps  that  bust  shots  too!

I feel  its  only  real  that  respect  is  due,  no discount,  diversion or  excuse  to infuse

My  life  is  more  than  a leap year worth of  commemorating,  switching  channels to  change  subjects….

Respect  is  first  and  then  injustice  will fold,  reparation  is  next  for all  the wealth you stole…

Who?  You  Know  who….the ones always  changing the  channel  from  truth…and their dupes!

Woofin’  Law  and  Order,  but  that  is just made  for  tell-lie-visions’ renditions selling stale patriotism

Like the same  ole’  stale  bowl  of  cereal….called  the Super  Bowl
