"DO YOU REMEMBER ME"? "DO YOU REMEMBER ME"? "DO YOU REMEMBER ME"? reluctantly trying not to acknowledge you in this face to face struggle I know who you are, I always have if I did not I would have long walked away, guess I was curious to hear what you had to say trying not to laugh in your face at the nerve of the absurdity honestly you're annoying me with all this imaginary dreary as if I were sleeping during okay before I walk off, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt letting bygones be bygones charge it to the game, got to go here comes my train, please stand clear the doors are now closing in your face some dreams may get lost somewhere in the shuffle but nightmares often linger and come back to haunt you I ran into you from my past you didn't remember how bad that past was and the role you played in it that caused so much harm standing here folded arms like some kind of majik genie about to grant a wish but you're still here in fact no disappearing act, pulling my hair out wrecking my brains "WTF" IS THIS B!tch Talking BOUT? ridiculous speculation in a gift wrapped heart shaped box 'twas so long ago thought I let it go but not so, some seams unraveled guess I thread needles better than I can sew, I tell you tho, I have to go trying to scope out an opening but you keep holding me up with memories you made up that only you believe to have happened between us, biting my tongue hoping you don't see me bleed, why do you insist on asking me repeatedly "REMEMBER ME"?
