Black Woman

Being a black woman

I was born with strength

I was born with a crown

I was born to nurture

I was born to love

But it seems

Being a black woman

I give more than I receive

Whatever I go through

I handle it with ease,

Oh and you can’t forget grace

So, How come I’m abandoned?

As if I’m not GREAT!
