Bill’s overdue colonizers!

When hate hurts the heart

People panic and process pain poorly

God gave us flaws yet still reprimands cruelly 

The worst win rewards just look at the bully

They’re ropes, we’re cogs, and life’s just is a pulley 

Europeans conquered the world so half speak Spanish or English

Got Johns and Marias in South America and Asia so it’s difficult to distinguish

Worried that immigrants will take back what’s due

So they pass laws and build walls against anyone with a hue

The world makes and Europe takes

When will the colonizers pay for their mistakes?

The world should reclaim half of Europe’s riches if it were wiser 

Trillions of euros in gold, diamonds, and free labor - the bill’s overdue colonizers!

Yes! This is a debt past due. The question is, how we the payment be demanded. Taken back by force? Will Mr.Hughes "Dream Deferred" words come true? Love the simplicity and passion of this poem.
