My men, my royal hearts
Cherished in mind and spirit
Will never be deprived of
My loyalty for I have seared it.
Not just in their hearts
But deep in their souls
Always there to be counted on
So let the truth be told.
My King keeps me grounded
Providing me with a foundation
Of steadfast love and support
Through trials and tribulations.
My Bishops, those faithful friends
With unwavering dedication
Help guide the steps of my path
From Genesis to Revelations.
My Knights, the first in battle
Should anything become a threat
Will have their opponents changing
The course of their mindsets.
And then there are my rooks,
Who question all that comes our way
Assuring protection at all costs
Keeping our enemies at bay.
It’s an honor and blessing to
Even simply know these men
Because their dedication
To life and love knows no end.
And for that, I humbly thank you one and all.
