Beautiful little snake,
Coiled in her regal love--
So many warm hugs to share;
Fellow creatures pass and stare
but none has a stop to make...
Not even a cooing dove above.
Doomed to slither lonely in nature,
few if any, dare to pet and love her.
Warm affectionate hugs suspected
She worms away alone and rejected;
Tell me...tell me please...for God's sake,
Why the fear of a poor little lonely snake?
