As brutal as 'bombs' are falling from the skies
mankind hellbent upon self-destruction daily
experienced at catching depression and anger
God of life is reversing this destructive reality.

our daddy was no where to be seen

Yes, I do remember those days

just like it was yesterday,

even my big sister taught me things

of course that too was great.

though when a push came to a shove

I didn't know what I was after.

Obstacles

OBSTACLE
There is an obstacle in front of me.
I stand or I can sit.
It does not move out of my way.
I stand or I can sit.
The obstacle flashes lights of many colors.
I continue to stand or I sit.
I then pray to God for it to move.
It stands its ground firm.
I then decide to go around it on either side.
The obtacle ramains in its place.
It does not step upon my toes.
I then am able to pursue my plans of attaining
my goals.
Yet, it still stays standing in passing.
I only look back, and pray, that whomever
comes upon this obstacle, that they, may
follow the path which I decided to pursue.

Where's the Beef?

Seems like everywhere folks can turn

we keep hearing about corona virus,

it was just a few years ago remember

we got sick from music of Miley Cyrus.

So where in the world did the flu go to?

Did it just bounce or has it flown away?

There are so many gaps in between lies

I hardly know how I make it thru a day.

Six feet apart equals social distancing

makes for a rather odd family when home,

here honey you sleep over there, kids here

don't worry about Grandpa he likes to roam.

Birds continue to sing, as well as dogs bark

cars jettison up and down roads, trucks too,

buses, trains, airplanes, all doing their thing

the ants are fine, roaches also, how about you?

Flowers are still blooming, crooks are set free,

pharmacy's are pushing side-effected medicines,

high priced fruits and veggies are on Market ...
