I write out lines when I type
The rhymes are simply an imitation of life
Imperative that my narrative cuts like a knife
The serrated edge sparks hot dividing truth like a pipe
Friction/description/listless/the harvest is ripe
Deeds and seeds planted in granite crack the foundation
The world stumbles whenever our intentions are mistaken
No desire to supplant or retaliate
Our desire is to live, love and educate
Them versus us has been done for generations
What if everyone could live together without aggravation?
You don’t have to like me to get respect
I don’t have to love you to earn a check
We can break bread without grabbing each other’s neck
The alternative to heaven and hell is utopia
To make it we gotta join together like a cornucopia
